Kernan's Heroes gets new bus for veterans

A South Bend veteran service organization was given the keys to a new bus Tuesday.
Kernan's Heroes and the Life Treatment Center received a $15,000 donation from NIPSCO, which allowed the Center to purchase the bus.
Homes for Heroes and the American Legion Post 357 also contributed donations.
Kernan's Heroes and the Life Treatment Center provide services to homeless veterans.
