Kids' swing recalled following reports of straps breaking, fall hazard

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Delta Enterprise Corp. issued a recall for the 2-in-1 Outdoor Kids Swing on March 30 following several reports of the restraint straps breaking, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The broken restraint straps pose a significant threat to safety and increase the risk for falling out, according to the report.

The report stated over 43,000 units were sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online between March 2022 and October 2022.

The following model numbers are included in the recall:

  • SW86508MM
  • SW86516MN
  • SW86575MM
  • SW86576MN
  • SW86577PW

No injuries have been reported, according to the CPSC.

Consumers are urged to discontinue use of the swing and contact Delta Enterprise for free replacement straps.
