Knox-Center Township firefighters rescue man from grain bin

STARKE COUNTY, Ind.—A man was rescued from a grain bin in Starke County on Tuesday morning, according to the Knox-Center Township Fire Department.

Around 10:50 a.m., officials were notified of a man trapped in a grain bin at the Starke County Co-Op.

Multiple agencies assisted in the rescue of the man, who was “nearly engulfed in soybeans.”

The man was removed from the grain bin in stable condition around 2:30 p.m., according to the fire department.
