Kosciusko County woman accused of hitting daughter, taping mouth shut

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. — A Kosciusko County mother allegedly told police she beat her young daughter with a belt.
Sherena Harris, 26, is facing battery and neglect charges.
Officers say a case worker noticed bruises on Harris' 4-year-old daughter during a home inspection.
Harris was taken in for questioning and later allegedly admitted to hitting her child. She also allegedly admitted to taping her mouth shut.
