South Bend, Ind—La Casa de Amistad was successful in reaching their fundraising goal on Tuesday.
The 4th annual Noche with La Casa aimed to raise $100,000 to help fund program activities.
Executive Director Sam Centellas says the fundraiser reached that goal and doubled their fundraising efforts from a year ago.
This was the first year Noche with La Casa was held at the brand new Dahnke Hall inside the Duncan Student Center.
Centellas said the success of the fundraiser shows how far La Casa has come after more than four decades in South Bend.
