La Porte County accident kills 2

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. — The La Porte County sherriff's department is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of two people.
At 11:30 a.m. Saturday deputies responded to a car accident on County Road 600 in Springfield Township.
A female driver and young boy were found dead at the scene.
Deputies say the car tried to pass someone in a no passing zone, then struck a tree.
The identities of both victims are being withheld until the families are notified.
