La Porte County Sheriff’s Office investigating theft at hotel

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft that occurred at a hotel on Monday.

Police posted about the theft on Facebook:

"Yesterday afternoon, this sticky-fingered female entered a hotel in unincorporated Michigan City not to seek out a room, but to rather execute an act of thievery. She walked directly behind the front desk and helped herself to property that didn’t belong to her."

Police said the suspect left the hotel in a black Dodge Charger or Challenger.
