La Porte Police investigating home burglary

La Porte Police were called to a home on E. 9th Street on Saturday after the resident came home and found both the front and back doors standing open.
Police say the suspect forced open the front door and took the following property:
- Insignia television with 55” screen
- Sony television with 47” screen
- Western Field 12 gauge shotgun with black soft case
- Red Ryder air pellet rifle
- Unknown brand air pellet rifle with wooden stock
Damage to the front door, entertainment center and items stolen totaled approximately $1,325.
