LaGrange County Sheriff searching for hit and run suspect

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind.—The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect who they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash on March 30.

On March 30 at 8:42 a.m., Amber Singleton reported to police that her property and vehicle had been hit by another vehicle sometime during the night.

Police say that evidence at the scene showed that around 3 a.m. that same morning, a white passenger car left the west edge of CR-075 W and collided with a mailbox and passenger car. The white car then left the scene.

There was also a black passenger car identified as being on the scene as well, according to police.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying the driver and/ or passengers in both the white and black cars that were at the scene. The white car will have fresh damage to the front driver side corner.
