Quiet and cloudy weather defines today with highs peaking at 30F, likely the "warmest" day for the rest of the week. Lake effect snow showers develop after midnight tonight with the immediate impact being felt in northern La Porte, St. Joseph (IN), and Berrien counties during the morning commute. While mainly 1-2 inches of snow are expected to fall north of US-30, low visibilities and slick surfaces will be the main travel concerns. Snow showers shift progressively more east as the day goes on with highs in the mid 20s and lows bottoming out in the teens. Colder weather follows the rest of the week with highs contained to the mid 20s and cloudy skies Thursday. We continue to watch how Friday's potential snow event unfolds, although at this point expect more snow showers Friday morning through Saturday morning.
Today: Cloudy. High 30.
Tonight: Snow showers late. Low 22.
Wednesday: Snow showers. High 25.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 24.
