Amidst several rounds of storms, some could be severe today
Lake effect snow showers will develop more overnight, highly localized with totals of more than one inch is more likely across the northern tier of the area. But an inch of snow is possible as for South Bend-Mishawaka-Elkhart, if the stream of snow focuses on that area. Little to snow is a more likely outcome for most. It will be cold everywhere, with highs below 30 degrees Tuesday. Temperatures rebound to 40 degrees Wednesday, and temperatures remain slightly milder for the foreseeable future. A couple rounds of rain are likely Friday and Sunday-Monday.
