Lake Michigan College to break ground on wine education center

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Four years into the program, Lake Michigan College will break ground on a new building dedicated to wine and viticulture education.
The ground breaking will happen at 2 p.m. Friday just behind the Mendel Center where the program was first launched.
According to the school, LMC’s wine and viticulture degree is the first of its kind in the Midwest.
