Lake Michigan near record lows

MICHIGAN -- Lake Michigan is nearing record lows.
Right now, it is 24 inches below the average for the month of September.
And the Army Corps of Engineers expects the water to drop another eight inches by November.
If that happens it will be the lowest lake levels ever recorded.
The depth could impact shipping and marinas.
