Lakeshore Public Schools receiving $720,000 for district-wide improvements

BERRIEN COUNTY, Ind. -- The Lakeshore Excellence Foundation has pledged $720,000 to Lakeshore Public Schools to help the district finance a variety of improvements.

The first $345,000 will go towards purchasing new technology for classrooms across the district.

Next, efforts focused on recruiting and retaining qualified teachers at Lakeshore will be funded with $150,000 of the pledge.

The final $225,000 will be dedicated to training programs for faculty and staff members in the district.

These funds and improvements are scheduled to be completed and financed in phases over the course of three years.
