LaPorte County woman dies in crash, BAC five times the legal limit

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- A LaPorte County woman who died last night in a car crash had a blood alcohol level of 0.428.

That is more than five times the legal limit! Coronor John Sullivan said it is one of the highest he has ever seen!

Police said 31-year-old Sara Gondocs hydroplaned near John Emery Road and 700 North, and hit a nearby power pole!

Gondocs died at the scene.

The crash also shutdown South Shore trains out of South Bend.
