After highs soared into the 60s across Michiana Wednesday, will remain mild tonight with overnight lows dipping to near 50°. There could be a stray shower or thunderstorm overnight mainly in areas south and west of South Bend. Any storms that do form are not expected to be severe and should be done by the morning drive Thursday.

The risk of severe weather has increased for Thursday afternoon and evening. We will likely have a very intense environment for storms to tap into. The main threats to watch still are large hail and damaging straight line winds from roughly 5 PM through 11 PM. However, if storms fire earlier than anticipated in the afternoon, our tornado threat will increase. Flash flooding and heavy rain is also a concern heading into early Friday morning. Stay tuned to ABC57 News as we provide further forecast updates. 

Temperature is turned much colder on Friday with high is near 40 and feels like temperatures in the 20s and 30s with breezy conditions. We'll see high moderate throughout the weekend before a rainy pattern looks to move in to start April.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy and warm. Evening showers and thunderstorms likely, severe weather possible. High 72.

Friday: Much colder, breezy and cloudy. High 42.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and little chilly. High 46.
