Last minute voting goes smooth across St. Joseph County

Voters across Michiana showed up in large numbers Tuesday to vote at their polling stations.

One noticeable difference was the age range of those who stood in line anxiously waiting their turn. Poll workers at the Clay Township Fire Department say they were pleased with the results of an over 60% voter turnout.

Some voters made their way in the last few minutes before voting stations were closed. Most lines across Michiana were small after about 4:00 p.m. making it a faster process for last minute voters.
