(CNN). --Federal Regulators have blocked Microsoft's takeover of video game maker Activision Blizzard.
Microsoft would become the third largest video game publisher in the world with the 69-billion-dollar deal.
The FTC's complaint said, if the deal goes through, Microsoft would have too much power in the industry, possibly crushing competition, raising prices and lowering game quality and player experiences.
