Lerner restores historic pipe organ

ELKHART, Ind. -- A piece of Lerner history is being returned to the theater.

The original pipe organ installed in the Lerner Theater in 1924 was taken down and completely repaired.

Now it is being reassembled piece by piece.

Operators said the organ is the final phase of the theater's restoration.

It is only one of the three theaters in the country to still have its original Kendal Organ.
