Though temperatures stayed below freezing, the sun truly made a difference today. Temperatures reached the 20s for highs, allow salt on roadways to become more effective. Lows will cool to the low teens tonight.
Clouds will build overnight ahead snow light snow showers Monday morning. An inch or less is really all that is anticipated for snowfall totals; however, the dusting we receive could make roads slippery for the Monday morning commute. Err on the side of caution and don't underestimate the snow, even if it is a small amount.
Highs in the 20s continue through the work week with fairly quiet conditions. The next chance of snow showers returns Thursday into Friday. By Friday, expected highs could temporarily stretch above freezing. Unfortunately, highs drop off to the teens once again for the weekend.
Tonight: Widespread light snow. Low 12.
Monday: Lingering snow in AM, clouds by afternoon. High 28.
Tuesday: Cloudy. High 28.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 24.
