Scattered showers roam our area through the rest of the early morning hours but diminish by the morning commute. Some patchy but heavy fog is possible as rain-cooled air lingers at the surface. There is likely a brief lull in the wet weather starting late this morning, but renewed chances for a few showers and a thunderstorm or two pick back up in the late afternoon and early evening as highs struggle to meet the low 80s. All rain wraps up before the overnight, leaving mostly clear skies and lows in the mid 60s. Saturday and Sunday are warm but less humid overall with plenty of sunshine both days, a generally pleasant way to kick off August.
Today: Scattered showers. High 81.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 66.
Saturday: Sunny. High 87.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 88.
