The unseasonably warm and dry weather pattern continues through next weekend. There are small fluctuations, temperatures will be slightly cooler midweek before highs warm back near 90 degrees, Friday. We are still on track for the driest September on record, South Bend has not recorded precipitation since August 28th. This is also becoming one of the longest dry streaks on record, this is likely to be the longest dry streaks since 1979 (25 days) and could near the all-time record (36 days) set in 1908. Drought will continue to worse. Next week, temperatures trend cooler but there's no significant change at this time.
