SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Venues Parks & Arts is announcing the return of its Summer Concert Series and Fridays by the Fountain live performance events Thursday and Friday.

The Summer Concert Series, which runs from June to September and features live music, food trucks, and community nights, starts Thursday.

The Summer Concert Series runs every Thursday at Howard Park from 6 to 8 p.m., every Sunday at Seitz Park from 3 to 5 p.m., and every Sunday at Potawatomi Park from 6 to 8 p.m. In addition, it runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at either Seitz or Howard Park on the first Friday of each month.

Fridays by the Fountain returns Friday at the Jon R. Hunt Plaza at The Morris Performing Arts Center. These free midday concerts featuring food trucks will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. from June to August.
