Local bar causing problems in the River Park Neighborhood

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- One man was rushed to the hospital Monday morning after he was stabbed during a fight at a local bar. Residents in the River Park Neighborhood are frustrated about the violence and loud music coming from the Tapped Out bar on Mishawaka Avenue.

Ryan Ryall said, “I hope that they can do something with the bar, if need be shut it down because I don’t want anybody around here to get injured. If you can’t go out and have a drink and have a good time, you shouldn’t be out there.”

Many neighbors said they are kept awake by the loud music coming from the bar.

“There’s a lot of loud music and a lot of guys standing out there but for the most part that’s all I’ve really seen. I didn’t see any stabbings, any shootings, but I know there’s a lot of crazy stuff that goes on over there,” Ryall said.

We reached out to the bar for comment but no one answered the phone on Tuesday night because the bar was closed.
