ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — This week is Victim's Rights Week and local community centers are recognizing it with art.
The Charles Martin Youth Center as well as the La Casa de Amistad Community Center held contests for art done by the children they serve.
That art work is now on display at the Family Justice Center in St. Joseph County.
"It gives them the chance to tell the community how crime impacts them. And I think some of them, especially the ones the faces with the words, it really was insightful into how children are impacted by crime," said Director of Family Justice Center Sareen Dale.
The art represents a child's view of crime and victims within the community.
