Local fans pack bars to cheer on Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame faithful who didn't travel down to West Lafayette are gathered around TVs ready to cheer the Irish to victory. Corby's was packed with Notre Dame fans.

There were about fifty students from Notre Dame's MBA program and they were all watching in costume.

To come to this watch party, they had to go in someone else's closet and pick out an outfit.

Student Daniel Portilla wore a skirt and fur vest. He said there's no better place to cheer on the Fighting Irish.

"I've been here for two years now and there's no greater passion that I have! Notre dame's going to beat Purdue and it's going to be awesome," said Portilla.
