Local group offering free health care to homeless

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Wednesday is National Health Care for the Homeless Day and one local organization is making sure that local people who need help get it.
Project Homecoming will be hosting a free health care event at 701 S. Main Street in South Bend.
The group's offering attendees glucose testing, blood pressure checks, mammograms and much more, all free of charge.
According to the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, there are over 3,000 homeless people in St. Joseph County.
The event starts at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Main Street and Bronson Street in South Bend.
