Local hot dog vendor inducted into Vienna Beef Hall of Fame

ST. JOESEPH, Mich. -- He's been a St. Joseph staple for 29 years.

A beloved hot dog vendor was inducted into the Vienna Beef Hot Dog Hall of Fame.

Ben Yacobozzi owns the "Hot Dog Kart" at the corner of State and Broad.

Congressman Fred Upton posted a picture on Facebook Tuesday morning. Yacobozzi actually started the company in 1984 on a bicycle.

The hot dog kart is open for lunch seven days a week from May to August.

To qualify for the Hall of Fame, you must be in business for 20 years and can only sell Vienna Beef Hot Dogs.
