Local volunteers pack supplies for nursing homes and schools

GRANGER, Ind. --- Nearly 2,000 volunteers got an early start to the day for a good cause.
They got to work packing up totes for Granger Community Church's Supply Drop. The church put it together to help those in need at area nursing homes and schools.
Bags filled with bath items and crossword puzzles will go to the nursing homes. And those filled with hand sanitizer and school supplies will go to students.
The supply packs will go to 38 schools and 20 nursing homes across Elkhart, Mishawaka, Niles, and South Bend.
