WARSAW, Ind. -- A motorcycle driver from Syracuse, Ind. says loose gravel caused him to lose control of his bike on S.R 15 Sunday, resulting in him and his passenger being airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
Authorities say the call came in around 7:30 p.m. on July 20 of reports of a crash on S.R. 15, between C.R. 300 N and C.R. 350 N.
Both the driver, a 36-year-old man, and his passenger, a 33-year-old Mentone woman, suffered serious injuries.
"Due to the severity of injuries, both parties were airlifted from the scene and flown to a Fort Wayne hospital," the Warsaw Police Department said.
"The Kosciusko county sheriff’s office fatal team was contacted to assist with the ongoing investigation."
