LPGA to tee off at Blackthorn Golf Course this summer

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Senior PGA isn't the only big golf event to hit Michiana this year.
In August, Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend will host the LPGA.
Blackthorn announced the Symettra Tour event on Wednesday.
They need plenty of volunteers.
The golf event is sponsored by Four Winds Casino and runs Aug. 10 to 12.
Proceeds will go to Memorial Hospital's Ronald McDonald Family Room.
