Lucchese's Italian Restaurant in Elkhart is closing permanently after 38 years in business.
The family owned restaurant has been doing take out only because of the governor's stay at home order, but the financial strain forced them to shut down permanently.
It's a bittersweet moment for the Lucchese family because they've dedicated the past 38 years the community.
“We loved our employees, they’re like family. Lot of people worked here for years and years, and they’re heartbroken just like we are," said Frank Lucchese, co-owner of the restaurant.
Everything in the restaurant will be up for auction from cooking equipment to wine glasses at this website.
