ABC 57

COLOMA, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Transportation is closing M-239 for just under two months for a culvert replacement starting Tuesday, July 7.

Coming as part of a $650,000 investment, the culvert replacement at Blood Run Creek, near the Michigan and Indiana border, is meant to improve drainage.

The M-239 closure is planned to finish on Friday, Aug. 28. In the meantime, it will be closed to traffic, with a posted detour into Indiana on I-94, US 20, and S.R. 39.
