M. David Diamonds hopes for big business on Black Friday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A lot of local shops are going to be open on Black Friday, hoping for big business!

M. David Diamonds on Main Street in Mishawaka is no exception. This business has been owned and operated by the Cohen Family for 14 years.

Owner Mike Cohen is encouraging many shopping patrons to shop locally this year, because they can offer certain things many big box stores cannot.

"We give the best service and best prices.  We have a much lower overhead.  We don't have a big fancy building to support with a lot of employees, were family-owned and operated, and we can give you a better deal here," said Cohen.

The store will have standard hours on Black Friday, but as the holidays get closer and closer, it will stay open later into the evening and on Sundays.
