Main Library of St. Joseph County Public Library set to reopen

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After two years of renovations, the St. Joseph County Public Library has announced that their Main Library will reopen on November 14.

Renovations have added a teen area, children's area, courtyard, 250-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, event spaces and more.

“We are incredibly grateful to our partners: Community Foundation of St. Joseph County and the City of South Bend. Because of their generous support, we’ve been able to renovate the Main Library to create spaces that align with our community’s needs, and construct a new Community Learning Center that will bring local residents and visitors together for generations to come,” said Debra Futa, Executive Director of the St. Joseph County Public Library.

These new accommodations will add further learning opportunities and improved resources for visitors to enjoy.
