Maine legalizes same-sex marriage

MAINE -- Same sex-marriage is now legal in Maine.
It's the first time gay marriage has been approved at the ballot box.
Six other states and the District of Columbia previously passed laws allowing gay and lesbian marriage rights, but those were through the actions of judges or legislators not voters.
