Some less-traveled roads could be slick this morning as we were dealing with patchy freezing drizzle overnight, so a few extra minutes this morning isn’t a bad idea. Slight chances for lake effect snow showers return tonight, and totals will be very light. One inch, at the most, could be possible for the Michigan counties. L.E. snow showers could spill into Christmas Eve for some, but our next system comes through Christmas Day, bringing more widespread snow and rain. Another inch of wet snow could be possible on the grassy areas by Wednesday morning. Afterwards, temps continue to warm into the upper 40s, near 50 for some, as a stronger system moves closer to end the week.
Today: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain/snow showers. High of 36.
Tonight: Mostly to partly cloudy with a slight chance of L.E. snow showers. Low of 27.
Christmas Eve: Partly sunny with a slight chance of AM L.E. snow showers, then mostly sunny late. High of 33.
Christmas Day: Cloudy with scattered rain/snow showers possible. Highs in the upper 30s.
