SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The parking garages for Wayne Street and Leighton Plaza were shut down on Monday to undergo maintenance work.
Crews will repair structural concrete and sealant, and they will also provide new painting and striping.
The maintenance work will have a minimal impact on drivers as the majority of the work will take place overnight.
Work during the day will be done with restrictions as to not inconvenience drivers/parkers.
The project is expected to wrap up by early November.
