Tens of thousands of dollars worth of processed marijuana has been confiscated by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.
On Thursday, October 2, detectives found about 20 pounds of the drug in Calvin Township near Cassopolis.
Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood said that his team had been investigating the person who lived inside a home on Tharp Lake Road for about a week after receiving tips from citizens.
Detectives say the marijuana recovered had a street value of over $50,000.
One person has been arrested and is inside the Cass County jail. That person has not been identified and is expected to be arraigned on October 3.
