MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.--- Sunday, the Make-A-Wish Foundation revealed to 11 year old Broc Davis that his wish was being granted. Davis suffers from an illness that doctors have not been able to diagnose.
Davis’s parents hosted a party at City Wide Bowling for his big reveal.
“The reason I had this today was for his make a wish reveal but to also give back to everyone and to say ‘Thank you,’ for all the help they’ve given us,” said Kerrigan Davis, Broc’s mother.
When Broc was first approached by Make-A-Wish in October, he wanted his wish to benefit the other children who were in the hospital with him.
“He sees what he’s going through and what other kids are going through and he wants to help them all out at the same time,” said Christine Dunn, a volunteer with Make-A-Wish. “That’s all great but we wanted him to understand that this wish is for you.”
Davis eventually landed on a trip to Orlando for the 2019 Monster Jam World Finals on May 8th as his wish. On Sunday, Davis learned that his wish will come true.
“For us to be able to spend five days together as a family and not have to worry about anything and for him to be able to hopefully meet his favorite truck driver is going to be really amazing,” said Davis’s mother.
