Man accused of drug possession, driving while suspended

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A South Bend man was arrested for allegedly driving while suspended and in the possession of cocaine and marijuana, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

At 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a deputy and K9 conducted a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 31 and 9A Road.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Lee, was found to be driving while suspended and had active warrants through St. Joseph and Marshall counties, according to reports.

Law enforcement found suspected cocaine and marijuana in the vehicle he was driving, deputies said.

Lee was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on the following charges:

  • Possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug less than 5 grams
  • Driving while suspended - prior
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Active warrants
