Man accused of failing to register as sex offender, living within restricted area

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A registered sex offender was accused of failing to register and for moving into a restricted area, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

Raymond Grossman is a registered sex offender convicted of child solicitation through Marshall County, according to reports. As a classified sex offender, he is required to register annually and register any change in residence and employment within 72 hours of the change.

On Monday, deputies learned Grossman had moved to a residence on North Plum Street in Plymouth on October 24 and did not notify law enforcement within the required 72 hours.

They also learned the residence he moved to is within 1,000 feet of a licensed daycare facility, which is prohibited as a register offender.

Deputies found Grossman at the Plum Street address and arrested him on the charges of failure to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction and violation of sex offender residency restrictions.
