Michigan State Police arrested a 60-year-old man in Constantine after he allegedly threatened his wife.

Troopers were called to a home in the 62000 block of Lutz Road in Constantine around 10 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic incident.

A 60-year-old man was allegedly armed with a .22 caliber rifle and was threatening to kill himself and his wife

The wife called her daughter and the daughter called 9-1-1 for her.

When troopers arrived, the situation was calm and there were no injuries.

Troopers learned the suspect had been drinking. He was arrested for domestic violence and possession of a firearm while under the influence.

The suspect's name was not released.
