Man arrested after attacking birthday cake

LONGVIEW, Wash. -- A scuffle at a Washington courthouse over a 9-year-old's birthday cake was caught on camera. It happened at the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice.
A woman took the cake for her daughter into the courthouse to keep the dog from eating it.
She left the cake on a table.
A man who came in after her smashed his hand into the cake.
A deputy asked him to stop, but he didn't. And he then lunged at the cake.
Deputies took the man down and arrested him on suspicion of theft.
