Man arrested after fatal crash in Kosciusko County

Warsaw, IN.,--- A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with a two-vehicle fatal rollover crash Saturday morning on US 30 near CR 450 east.

Deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office were called to the area at 5 a.m. in response to the crash. 

According to the investigation, a Honda Pilot left the south side of US 30, rolled over, struck a NIPSCO utility pole and came to a stop on its passenger side. 

One of the Pilot's passengers, 24-year-old Connor Small of Huntington, Indiana, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Pilot and three others were injured and taken to a local hospital. 

During the investigation, the driver of the Pilot said the vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle, causing the Pilot to leave the road. 

That vehicle left the scene during the incident.

Using a vehicle description, deputies were able to locate the vehicle, a gray, 2009 Buick Alero, and arrest its driver, 20-year-old Cayden Collins. 

Collins was arrested and was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail where he was preliminary charged with one count of felony leaving the scene of a fatality accident, a level 4 felony.
