Man arrested on drug charges after officials investigate community complaints
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – A 29-year-old man was arrested and arraigned after the Berrien County Sheriff’s department and the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) conducted a drug investigation in Benton Harbor on Monday.
Officials conducted the investigation after several community complaints of drug sales near Seeley and East High Streets.
SWET and Berrien County Road Patrol attempted to arrest Antonio Hall, 29, after he was seen making several drug sales.
Hall fled into a home on the 800 block of East High Street. Officers obtained a search warrant and located him.
Hall had other evidence related to narcotic sales and distribution, according to SWET.
Hall was arrested and booked on three counts of delivery of Heroin, resisting and obstruction of police, and a parole absconder warrant.
