BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- According to Facebook posts from the Indiana University Emergency Updates page, a “dangerous situation” unfolded Monday night at the union building on Indiana University's campus in Bloomington.
A person barricaded themselves inside of the union's hotel, according to Indiana University Emergency Management.
Officials asked the public to stay away from the "dangerous situation" at the union building around 9 p.m. on Monday night.
Just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning, schools officials said on Twitter that the situation ended without injuries and one person was taken into custody.
The university and its emergency management department did not say why the person was being sought by police.
