Man dies after possible drowning at Lake Maxinkuckee

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. — A Plymouth man is dead after a possible drowning at Lake Maxinkuckee in Marshall County. A conservation officer with the DNR told ABC 57 that 22-year-old Valentin Sirghi died Sunday night.
Officers say he was at the beach with friends. Around 7:30 p.m., those friends called 911 to report that he was missing.
Rescuers pulled Sirghi's body from Lake Maxincukee a half hour later.
CPR was performed and he was taken to the hospital where he died.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the actual cause of death.
