Man drowns in Hudson Lake early Sunday morning

A fisherman drowned in Hudson Lake early Sunday morning.

Crews from the Indiana Conservation Office received a call around 7:00 a.m. that a man had fallen out of a boat.

Six different emergency groups tried to rescue the man.

A New Carlisle police officer recovered the body about 100 feet off shore.

The boat had life vests inside but the man was not wearing one.

Police think a medical problem led to the incident.
