Man in serious condition after driving into tree

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- An Elkhart man is in South Bend Memorial Hospital after colliding with a tree.
Steven Briskie,39, drove a Ford Explorer into a tree early this Sunday morning.
The accident happened on County Road 16.
Briskie was not wearing his seat-belt and suffered severe injuries to his head and face.
The accident is under investigation.
